How to add widgets in Android 11 - Widgets are elements that have practically come with Android since its launch a decade ago, although in recent months they have taken on special relevance due to Apple's decision to allow them to reach their iPhones, so many of you will be familiar with finding them. and place it on your home screen in a fast and easy way.
And although for almost a decade they have remained unshakable, the reality is that with Android 11 another way to access them has arrived, thanks to much smarter and usable shortcuts that allow users to avoid walking into the configuration menu of wallpapers, themes, icon layouts, etc.

Google, for its Android 11 decided to add a new way to add widgets to their smartphone home screen without touching, yes, the traditional method. Now, however, instead of going through a huge list of apps compatible with this module, we'll do it the other way around: we'll go to the app we want to add and see if there is, or not, one of those widgets available.
Like the one we brought over from The Weather Channel, the app shows us up to five possible designs for its widgets, some wider than others and always customizable to the space we have on the start menu. Even if we create one that moves from side to side of the screen, we can always reduce it, as was the case with previous versions of Android, leaving a finger on it and moving the handle that will pop up and down.
Of course, while this method is perfect for adding certain apps, there are other widgets that focus on certain Google features (like fitness, digital well-being, etc.) that you can only find in the old drawer accessible from the smartphone startup menu.
