How to Activate Split Screen Xiaomi - Split Screen is a feature that can be used to divide the screen so that it can display multiple applications simultaneously. For example, you can now watch videos and chat at the same time without having to close the screen from one of the applications.

Before you try the Split Screen feature, make sure that MIUI installed on your Xiaomi smartphone is already using MIUI 9. If you haven't, please first update the version of MIUI you are using. If your Xiaomi cellphone has MIUI 9 version, Split Screen is available and can be used to display the main screen in any application.

To start the Split Screen feature you have to press the Recent Apps button. Then you will see the words "Split Screen" at the top of your Xiaomi mobile screen.  

Then just tap Split Screen, then "Drag Items Here" then drag the application you want to use in the split screen mode. If you have selected the first application to be used in split screen mode, then the next is to choose the second application or other application that you want to use on the second screen.

If you want to move to another application, just press the Recent Apps button again, then you will be presented with various lists of currently running applications. If you want to exit the split screen mode, then just press the Recent Apps button then select Exit.
