How to move objects freely in sims 4 -  Sims 4 allows players to do a lot of things, but moving objects around freely isn't one of them. Since the game does not allow you to move them directly, you can freely move them using cheats.

And that trick allows you to get more creative with objects, allowing you to place them in many interesting ways. So in this guide we are going to see how to move objects freely in The Sims 4.

How to move objects freely in The Sims 4

You can freely move objects in The Sims 4 using the move objects cheat.

1. Press the Ctrl + Shift + C keys on your keyboard to open the cheat console.
2. Then type bb.moveobjects and hit enter. This will activate the cheat.
   

To disable this cheat use this same command again.

Using this trick for the first time can feel like you've broken a few things. This is simply because this cheat allows you to literally move objects around freely and the previous placement restrictions no longer apply. While this can be fun if you pick it up quickly, it can also be horrible if someone tries it for the first time without any knowledge of this trick.

So the best thing to do is to press the Alt key on your keyboard while moving the objects. Another thing that can be done with this trick is to place the objects at the top or at the bottom.  Press the number 9 on your keyboard to move an object up. And to move it down press the number key 0.
