Map Classic Scrapyard map will be coming soon to CoD: Mobile - To open the third season of Call of Duty: Mobile which will be released next week, Activision has revealed the all-time favorite map of the Scrapyard from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The scrapyard first appeared in MW2 2009, then reappeared in the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as an area in the Spec Ops co-op mode.

"This is a remake of the classic three-way Modern Warfare 2 map," Activision said in the Reddit post. "A medium-sized map that provides many opportunities for close combat and promises a lot of action. This will be the first Multiplayer map to be released in Season 3. "

Season 3 will also present a new mode called Rapid Fire. Activision describes it as a "fast paced and action-packed battle" where you get unlimited ammunition, unlimited grenades, speed up cooldown operator skills, and faster recharge killstreaks. Basically this mode is similar to CoD: Mobile on steroids.

Activision also said that Scrapyard will not be the only map to be released in the new season, so there will be more new features in Season 3 CoD: Mobile.

The third season of Call of Duty: Mobile will begin on Wednesday, January 15.
