Love live Manga : Love live manga School Idol Diary (hereinafter abbreviated LL SID), began to be serialized in a new magazine, Dengeki G's Comic, which began to be published since the end of last month, and is a monthly comic magazine that contains a series of moving manga from Dengeki G's Magazine, along with several new series, one of them is this LL SID.
Previously, Lovelive! School Idol Diary is a kind of light novel book that is published monthly, with each character as the main focus, and according to its name, contains the stories of the characters which are packaged like a diary, with the perspective of each character.
The story for the School Idol Diary was made by Sakurako Kimino, who is also famous for his works such as Sister Princess and Strawberry Panic, while the drawings are handled by Oda Masaru.
The story format for this manga, the same as the novel version, will tell a freelance story per chapter, as for the first chapter, taking stories from Honoka's diary, about the idols who held a photoshoot session which opened registration for fans in general (which was originally an idea crazy Nico, of course).
To promote the activity, they even posted it on the bulletin board. Honoka and friends look forward to many people coming, but ... In the end no one came, even though Rin even brought his father's camera, and Nico to prepare various kinds of cosplay clothes, ranging from maid clothes, school swimsuits, cheerleader, and others. In the end, they only took pictures together using these clothes.
After the photo session was finished, Nico apparently uploaded all the photos on the internet! Umi was very embarrassed by this and asked Nico to delete it. To the end, Honoka was shown remembering the incident at the time, closing his diary.
LL SID version of this manga, the plan will contain one story from each diary, from each season, such as the Honoka story above taking the spring setting, while the Kotori story will take the summer setting, Maki in the fall, and the story Nico in winter. However, the story that will be taken is still not explained further, and whether the other members will also be given is also not explained.
Overall, I am quite satisfied with the first chapter, and the interesting thing about this manga is the telling from the point of view of each character, which is not highlighted in the anime version (yes, but starts to be highlighted in the second season anyway), and interesting stories about the daily lives of idols, and tells of backgrounds that were not previously or have not had time to be told in the anime version.
I personally, highly recommend this manga, especially for those of you who really like Lovelive !, and want to know more about the characters.
