1. Open the WhatsApp application on your smartphone, and select which contacts you want to pin.
2. At the top of the menu there is the 'bells' symbol. Click the 'slanted bell' symbol and the results are as below. And the contact you chose has been prioritized.
3. To restore a pinned contact, you only need to select the contact and in the top menu there is 'tilted bells crossed'. Just click the 'slanted bells crossed' symbol, then the contact is no longer pinned and is no longer prioritized.
4. Done.

The Star-Chat feature on WhatsApp will make it easier for you to find important chats. When you need the chat you only need to reopen it through the starred message settings. Easy right? But for more details about using this star chat, you can follow the steps below:

1. Open your important message in the contact you have chosen, and select the message that you think is important.
2. In the top menu there is a 'star' symbol. Click on the 'star' symbol
3. Chat that has been starred will be in 'starred messages'
4. To delete starred chat in 'starred messages', you only need to select starred chat then at the top menu there is a 'star crossed' symbol.
